Displacement Measuring Systems
Due to bearing kinematics of ball bearings and the expansion of the spindle shaft due to heat (thermal growth), the tool center point of a spindle is shifting. In order to eliminate this effect, a discplacement measuring device (DMD) from FISCHER PRECISE can be used to reduce this effect.
In this respect, shaft cooling reduces the tool center point deviations significantly. This FISCHER feature is available for several spindle types.
Vibration Transducers
Vibration measurement is mainly used for:
- monitoring of spindle and bearing conditions
- detecting imbalanced tooling, and
- process monitoring
To reduce external influences and obtain repeatable data, the integration of a vibration transducer in the spindle or mounted at fixed positions assures optimum readings. FISCHER PRECISE already offers spindle systems with this feature. From our collected past datas, we can share our extensive knowledge base with you.
Besides the physical sensor, the data processing and evaluation method has a significant influence on signal quality and provides much informative value. FISCHER PRECISE supports you to find the right solution.
