Internal Grinding
Essentially all Fischer Precise spindle models, whether with an integrated motor or belt drive, are ideally suited to the traditional internal grinding process for continuous drilled holes. With this type of process, it is mainly radial forces that arise. In the case of deeper holes, process cooling is usually effective with the aid of a cooling lance from the opposite side. Whether grinding the tiniest holes at 160’000 rpm, or a special requirement for a „bottleneck spindle“ for 3,000 mm deep holes, Fischer Precise has a suitable grinding spindle.
Combinded Internal and Face Grinding
This grinding process, which is mainly used with random shape grinding tools in the high productivity sector, demands considerably more from a grinding spindle. Axial, radial and combined process forces arise here. Especially suitable for these applications are our high–performance MFV and MFM motor spindles with Duplex O Bearing arrangements.
Surface Grinding or Combined Plunge and Surface Grinding
Such grinding processes generate large axial forces, as well as combined forces including tractive forces. Here, the advantages of the maximum spring pre-tensioned Duplex O Bearing Arrangement of the DLS air/oil lubricated MFM spindle really come into their own. The high power and great torque, even at lower rotational speeds, enable the production of relatively large workpieces.
Nozzle Grinding
State–of–the–art grinding! Deep, offset blind holes (length–diameter ratio greater than 10:1) with tapered seats for diesel injection nozzles require modern CBN abrasive materials for maximum rotational speeds and maximum radial and axial stability. At the same time, it is often vital to have an internal cooling system with a rotary feedthrough of up to 30 bar. For the economic production of such applications with maximum process reliability and safety, Fischer Precise can supply motor spindles up to 120’000 rpm.
Profiling, Dressing or Sharpening Grinding Tools
Based on requirements, the rotative dressing process is often underestimated, especially in the case of modern abrasive materials. The best possible radial and axial stability, with compact external dimensions and good torque, are required here. Fischer Precise can supply you with suitable, grease-lubricated dressing spindles, with the option of acoustic spark sensors.
